AB726 was unanimously passed by both houses earlier this year. While the original sponsors were Rep. Robb Kahl and Rep. Scott Krug , it soon attracted many unexpected cosponsors including Assembly Democratic Minority Leader Peter Barca and Sen. Glenn Grothman .
