Corbett signs Pa. budget before deadline

As a midnight deadline approached, the Senate and House on Sunday approved a nearly $29 billion budget for the year starting today, while Gov. Tom Corbett signed the budget bill and then tried to salvage his goal of authorizing private sales of wine and liquor before lawmakers leave town.
