FDA Approves Hemophilia B Drug "Rixubis"

The FDA has just approved the drug Rixubis [Coagulation Factor IX ] for people over the age of 16 suffering from hemophilia B. Hemophilia B is an inherited chronic blood disorder where the blood does not clot properly, it is caused by mutations in the Factor IX gene.
