Gov. Patrick unveils a tighta $36.34B budget

Gov. Deval L. Patrick proposed a $36.34 billion fiscal 2015 budget Wednesday that would increase spending by 4.9 percent over total fiscal 2014 spending, while level funding state aid to cities and towns The governor's budget proposes no major tax hikes and would increase funding for local public schools by $100 million, or $25 per pupil.
